  1. I posted an Item about the Phoenix Park Bike Hire on my Site some time ago. I met the Owners one Day as I was coming out the Front Gate on Conyngham Road,they seemed to be a very Friendly Couple. The Phoenix Park is very Beautiful ,something like 1'760 Acres of Woodland with Fallow Deer, The Zoo, Horse Riding, Cricket. Various Old Georgian Buildings, The American Ambassadors Residence, The Irish Presidential Residence The Former Vice Regal Lodge of The Lord Liutenant now Aras Un Uacteran, The Papal Nuncio, The Irish Police Headquarters. Many Happy Hours can be Spent here Cruising on a Bike then a Picnic, perhaps a Game of Soccer or even Soft Ball Baseball.

  2. @le homme - We met the man at the bike hire place, and he was very friendly and easygoing. Very affordable, too - 2 bikes for 2 hours for only 15 Euros. We saw everything you listed, even the herd of deer. It is a beautiful park and was definitely a highlight for me.

    @Dottie - Thanks, I did!
